Doughbird Takes Flight at The Colony on 7th

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Doughbird, the popular restaurant concept known for its hand-stretched pizzas and rotisserie chicken, has landed at its second Valley location at The Colony on 7th Street. This aviation-themed spot features the restaurant's mascot, "Von Zizzle," and offers a menu that soars with flavor.

Diners can enjoy the best of both worlds with pizzas and rotisserie chicken on the menu. Starters like the family recipe Lebanese hummus, a nutty, beany, and creamy delight with olive oil, garlic, lemon, and hearth bread for dipping, whet the appetite. Blistered shishito peppers with a soy and citrus-yuzu sauce add a touch of heat and a burst of umami.

Dough Takes Center Stage

Doughbird's signature pizza dough is made with organic flour from Central Milling, resulting in a lighter and healthier crust. While most pizzas are thin-crust, this location boasts the unique Detroit-style pizza – a square, thick-crust option not available at other Doughbird locations.

Popular pizzas include the Aviator, a meat-lover's dream with sweet glazed bacon; The Copper Hat, featuring prosciutto, goat cheese, medjool dates, salted pistachios, and arugula; and the Black Truffle Mushroom with smoked mozzarella.

Beyond Pizza and Chicken

Don't feel like pizza or chicken? No problem. This family-friendly eatery offers a variety of other options, including salads, sandwiches, pot pie, and prime rib.

Cocktails and Dessert Take Off

Wash down your meal with a refreshing cocktail like The Local, made with strawberry-infused vodka, French grapefruit liqueur, lemon, and sparkling wine. The Spicy Blackberry Margarita, featuring blanco tequila, habanero pepper, tajin, and fresh lime, adds a kick.

End your flight on a sweet note with the Peanut Butter Brookie, a warm chocolate brownie and peanut butter cookie served à la mode – a perfect combination for any indecisive dessert lover.
