Mon Cheri Brings Parisian Charm and Shareable Plates to Old Town Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Mon Cheri, a new restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, infuses Parisian flair with a touch of downtown Phoenix. Founded by Elexsis Caliscan, the restaurant promises a visually stunning and delightful experience for both the taste buds and the eyes.

Occupying a charming 1953 building, Mon Cheri boasts a luxurious pink aesthetic. Think velvet seating, custom murals, vintage tableware, and rose-adorned ceilings with chandeliers crafted by Vert Plant Works, all combining to create a Parisian cafe vibe.

Chefs McKenna and Mikey Fernandez have curated a unique menu centered on "cherables," shareable Mediterranean-inspired small plates. Diners can indulge in succulent Turkish lamb kabobs, vibrant pink pasta dishes, and decadent goat cheese arancini.

However, the beverage program developed by Richard Allison might just steal the show. The cocktails are as visually arresting as they are delicious. Standouts include the refreshing and aromatic "Cold Chamomile Foam with Passion Fruit" and the "Nightcap Sunrise," a unique twist on a classic tequila cocktail featuring tequila and turmeric.

For those seeking a touch of whimsy, Mon Cheri offers playful libations like the "Rose" served in a sparkling glass slipper, the "Dollhouse" – a pink concoction with rum, coconut, and dragonfruit offering a tropical escape – and the "Smoke Show" featuring mezcal, rose, and grapefruit for a smoky and complex flavor profile.

Beyond the chic ambiance and high-energy music, Mon Cheri captivates with its "cherable" plates and creative cocktails, including a champagne cocktail for four served in a large glass handbag, ensuring a memorable and entertaining experience.
