Walking into the canyon view room, I was met with the impressive landscape of Arizona's Canyon Country.
The plush king bed was separated from the living space, which offered with a sofa-sleeper. I had a work area as well as a refrigerator. When I was thirsty or hungry for a snack, I was able to get food and beverage at all hours of the night by visiting the on-site grab and go by the front desk. Spacious rooms with meticulous housekeeping, friendly staff ready to assist with any needs you may have.
With the hotel positioned on a mesa just above Lake Powell, scenic destinations like Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon are about ten minutes away. We took advantage of the on-site concierge to arrange an exclusive tour of the Antelope Canyon slot canyons with Ken's Tours
We visited Horseshoe bend at sunrise, and Glen Canyon dam at sunset (which were about ten minutes away). It was an unforgettable experience.
Adding to the magic of visiting Navajo Country was the weekend Navajo Market, at which we found stunning jewelry, crafts and Navajo food such as Blue Mush and Fry Bread.
